2008 UK Finals Award Presentation
Peter, Diane, Gill & Jackie travelled to Chester to attend the Presentation. We were joined by Town Mayor Cllr Tim Perry. A glass of Pimms was on offer when we arrived in the lovely setting of Chester Racecourse. Discretionary awards were made, followed by dinner and then the presentation of awards to the 69 'in Bloom' finalists. Only 9 Gold Awards were made, several categories being won by Silver Gilt winners. Upton upon Severn were awarded a Silver Gilt, with which we are extremely pleased and it reflects all the hard work carried out by the Committee and everyone else who helped.
