Upton in Bloom

16th November 2016

The Town Council applied for and received a 'Wetland Pack' of 420 free trees from The Woodland Trust. A tree planting event was organised for 16th November. On the 15th we helped mark out where the trees were to be planted using the canes supplied. On the 16th there were 15 people helping plant the trees, including our local Policeman. With so many people, planting took just over an hour. We planted two lengths of hedging and a small copse at the back of the Sports Field.
