Societies Day

We invited local clubs, societies and other organisations to showcase themselves on the Old Churchyard, with a view to perhaps gaining new members or volunteers. This proved very successful with a good range of activities on show. Star of the day was a large doll from the Tudor House Museum dressed in period costume made by volunteer Jo Bowmer.

Upton in Bloom, Hot Peppers WI, West Mercia Police & Neighbourhood Watch, Folk, Jazz & Blues Festivals, Upton Arts Music Group, Tudor House Museum, Retained Firefighters and the Royal British Legion came to the event. Worcester Cancer Aid, the Hill Centre, Hanley Voices and Malvern Hills Volunteering were unable to attend, but sent information to be displayed.

Thank you to everyone who took part.
